Mangaholix Went To Our School...yay!

Nice poster, eh? Rawr.

Well, actually the workshop happened last last week. And it was a laid-back afternoon of manga workshop fun! We were taught the basics of character sketching (human, dragons and robots galore!), story writing, digital coloring…aaaand not to mention “sexy fire/sexy ice”* rendering —-the highlight of the aft! Muhahah!

(* - The latter was just a cute term for drawing realistic curvy fire and ice, as in here.)

I also bought their nifty fifth issue…and had it signed by the team! Yarrr! <3

Oh hell yeah it is!

I also didn’t miss the chance to have their colorists critique some of my work (lucky I always bring my sample prints to school!). Thanks, you guys, your insights are all helpful! I shall practice more!

And oh yeah: They were looking for more colorists too! I don’t know why they suggested a N00b me to try out, but hey, they were being nice, methinks.

Anyways, enough of my stupid remarks.
